I'm trying to install an external modem on my sister's old laptop. It doesn't have a cd rom drive, so I can't run the installation disc. I've copied the drivers to a floppy on my old pc and used those and I thought it had worked. However, when I try to dial up I can hear the dialing tone, and hear the modem dialing
